Bonfire

Do you ever get mesmerized by the colours that flash as flames flicker sitting around a campfire? This painting tries to capture that times I would get so entranced watching what  emerged from dancing movements amongst the fire and embers. Growing up, we would have fires and weekend sleepovers with friends a lot in the summer. One of my best friends dads would wrap pieces of copper pipe in a green garden hose and we'd put them in at the end of the night and the flames would turn so colourful. It was magical. I hope this transports you to special places remembering summer nights or being cozy on a winter day watching a bonfire.
