Sublimation

For each piece I create, I always try to look at the components and makeup throughout the process and find the story waiting to be let out.

Sublimation is the conversion of a substance from a solid to a gaseous state without becoming a liquid. The solid mass dissipating into clouds in this painting makes me think of this. I love the balance of delicate clouds against the darker bold center.
